The system which has been designed to link with Sage and other accounting systems also conform to the currently available bar code standards. The three key modules are as follows:

Goods in

As and when purchase orders are created by the respective accounting systems they are captured by this module and stored in a suitable handheld device. On receipt of the goods from the supplier, each item’s bar codes will be read by the mobile device and the quantity received updated accordingly. This information will
be then automatically uploaded back into the accounting system and the appropriate purchase order and stock records.

Goods Dispatched

This module which is linked to Sales Order Processing and Stock Control Functions of the respective accounting system will provide the user with the ability to electronically pick the goods which are ready for despatch and updating the sales
order so that the delivery note can be generated.

Stock Take Management

By downloading all the current stock levels this module simplifies the stock take process. Using the bar code facility each item is counted electronically and the stock levels within the Stock Control System adjusted automatically.
